Event: The Role of International Collaboration and Culture regarding the COVID-19 Pandemic
Date: 10 July 2020 (Fri.), 5pm JST

At this event, three of Tohoku University's leading experts in the fields of infectious diseases, international law, and religion will discuss and explore the historical background of infectious disease in order to provide a greater understanding of the challenges and current situation facing the COVID-19-stricken world.

Also taken into account will be the importance of international organizations with reference to the relationship between culture and infectious disease. The handling of infectious diseases may also bring common benefits to countries and peoples the world over.

It is our hope that this discussion will help deliver new insights into how international cooperation and culture can contribute to peace and welfare during the COVID-19 Pandemic.

This event is open to anyone who is interested, but registration is required. All sessions will be held in English.
